Create a simple word document using the drawing tools.

Find each of the drawing tools, some of the text formatting options in a word processor
ABLE TO DO
Demonstrate use of the pencil tool, the coloring tool, access clip art, and change font, size, and color of text with help from the teacher or a peer.
Instructional Strategies
- Through direct instruction students will be shown the different tools in the drawing tools and simple formatting and how each of them works.
Allow students to practice using the tools to create pictures.
- Video tutorials on parts of Word title
- Show examples of posters made by other students

- Students will create a poster about themselves

Projects and Activities
The poster should have their name and 3 or more pictures that tell about them and the things they like to do or eat. Students will have already mastered how to type their name using correct finger stroke.
