Technology Essential Skills for Level 11

First Semester:

Student will be able to:

1.Demonstrate proper keyboarding hand positioning when typing at least 60wpm with 95% accuracy. 
2.Understand ethical issues pertaining to computers, software, Internet, their use and applications.
3.Understand copyright and fair-use guidelines and cite all resources with the correct bibliographic       format including those in electronic format.
4.Apply advanced skills learned in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
5.Apply basic skills learned in Access.

Second Semester:

Student will be able to:

1.Accurately make selections and apply techniques using Adobe Photoshop.  Computers Standard 1
2.Convert black and white pictures to color and create a picture collage using the techniques learned in Photoshop.  
3.Understand concepts and use of bluescreen techniques.
4.Create and design business forms for a Morgan County business using a combination of software, such as Word, Excel, Publisher, Photoshop and InDesign.
