Construct and revise scientific explanations and models, using evidence, logic, and experiments that include identifying and controlling variables.

Standard in Kid Friendly Language

Students will be able to state a conclusion based on their data analysis.

KNOW - know the components of a scientific explanation. . .

• Accept or Reject the Hypothesis
• Give data that supports your findings
• Pose questions that arise from the findings that may lead to more investigation.

ABLE TO DO - construct the scientific explanation using evidence, logic, and experiments. If findings do not match the hypothesis, the student will revise the explanation.
