Professional Development Opportunities
Professional development opportunities both in and out of districts will be maintained on this page. District users of the Wiki site are encouraged to add workshops and courses as they become available.
In District
- Wiki Summer Institute The two week Curriculum Wiki session will allow teachers to continue to build the curriculum database with tools, resources and activities for each grade level by standard. Teachers will receive a daily stipend of $150 and have the opportunity to earn 1 credit for participating in workshops each day on instructional technology tools. Note: The number of participants for this offering will be limited to 29.

- Career Ladder program at Morgan Community College MCC’s “Grow Your Own Teacher” Career Ladder Program offers Professional Development Opportunities For Paraprofessionals, Tutors & Classified Employees of MCC Partner School Districts. Morgan Community College has developed an Associate of Arts degree program that will assist paraprofessionals to advance their education while remaining employed within the school districts and prepare them in ESL education.
