Math Essential Skills for Level PK
First Quarter:
Student will be able to:
- Rational count five to six. Standard 1
- Rote count five to six. Standard 1
- Recognize five to six numbers. Standard 1
- Identify two of four basic shapes. Standard 4.5
- Identify a minimum five colors. Standard 2
- Recognize and duplicate AB patterns. Standard 2
- Sort and label by three attributes: color, size, shape Standard 3.1
- Begin to use graphs to request information. Standard 3.3a
- Begin to interpret information presented in graphs. Standard 3.2a
- Introduce words that describe relationships: more, less, most, same, fewer and none Standard 3.3a
- Introduce position or direction words: here, there, in, out, under, next to, near and far Standard 4.6
Second Quarter:
Student will be able to:
