Students will reproduce, extend, create and describe an AB and ABB pattern.

Instructional Strategies

COOPERATIVE LEARNING-Explain to students that they will be working in small groups. Teacher will divide the class into small groups. Each member of the group will participate in the activity. The groups should be small (2-4 students/group).

WHOLE GROUP INSTRUCTION-Teacher will give direct instruction to the entire class.

MODELING-Teacher will model various math activities.

HOMEWORK AND PRACTICE-Throughout the year teacher will send home math activities to practice at home with family.
