Physical Education Standard 3.5 - Level 9-12
evaluating risks and safety factors that may affect physical activity throughout life;
Standard in Kid Friendly Language
- rules are made to help provide safety to the activity and those that are participating in it.
- if there is an injury let the teacher know so they can take care of it before it becomes worse.
Standard Unwrapped
KNOW
- injury does occur in physical activity, just take care to heal it correctly and you will be fine.
- know that injuries today will affect you more as your body ages even if you don't feel hurt now.
ABLE TO DO
- some basic first aid/cpr

- teach cpr/and basic first aid in a unit for physical education
