Instructional Strategies

pair up the students by height.

play slower music to start off with.

bring other instructors in to change the pace.

break down each dance step seperately add another step and have the studnets try all the steps together.

Start off the period with the students doing the swimming stroke and then allow them free time.

Make sure the students that do not swim very well stay in an area that they can touch the ground as well as have a life guard available.
