  • Tell the difference between a monarchy and a democracy and understand the purpose of government.
  • Rewrite the Preamble to the Constitution
  • Explain what is in each of the seven articles, with emphasis on the following articles:
    • Legislative Branch: who's in charge and its function
    • Executive Branch: who's in charge and its function
    • Judicial Branch: who's in charge and its function
  • Create a poster illustrating the meaning of one of the 27 amendments. Then verbally explain it to the class.
