- Tell the difference between a monarchy and a democracy and understand the purpose of government.
- Rewrite the Preamble to the Constitution
- Explain what is in each of the seven articles, with emphasis on the following articles:
- Legislative Branch: who's in charge and its function
- Executive Branch: who's in charge and its function
- Judicial Branch: who's in charge and its function
- Create a poster illustrating the meaning of one of the 27 amendments. Then verbally explain it to the class.
