Studio Essential Skills for HS Level

Student will be able to:

1. Communicate- Students create a personal set of symbolic images to incorporate into a portfolio.

2. Structure- Students use the elements and principles to express a personal style and unique point of view.

3. Process- Students create a body of work in a given medium with documentation of the entire creative process.

4. Analyze- Students learn to analyze the techniques to create works of art in their chosen medium.

5. Synthesis- Students create a body of work that displays both influence and departure from the canon.

6. Context- Students research and report on the state of contemporary art.
