Content Standard 9.1: The student will comprehend the scope of careers available in agriculture.

5-4 Select, identify, and use lumber.

5-4 Calculate board feet.

5-5 Identify power tools and their uses.

5-6 Figure a bill of materials.

Content Standard 9.6: The student will describe and demonstrate arc and oxyacetylene welding practices.

6-1 Define the arc welding process.

6-2 Define the oxyacetylene welding process.

6-4 Identify arc welding equipment and uses.

6-5 Identify oxyacetylene welding equipment and uses.

6-6 Select and set amperage.

6-7 Set up and adjust the oxyacetylene unit.

6-11 Light and torch and adjust flame.

Content Standard 9.10: The student will identify the major crop and weed plants of the local community.

11-1 Perform the 10 hour maintenance procedures.

11-2 Identify safety components of tractors.

11-4 Define PTO safety procedures.

11-5 Define rollover prevention procedures.

11-6 Identify requirements for operating tractors on public roadways.

11-7 Determine procedure for starting and stopping tractors.

11-8 Read and interpret the operator’s manual.

11-9 Operate a tractor while negotiating an approved course.
