Semester One

Sketch Book- Students practice: sketching, value, doodling, and iteration.

Elements and Principles- students complete one exercise from the work book for every element and principle.

Creative Process- Students learn to work through and document the creative process, including: Observation, Idea, saturation, solution, application.

Research Project- one 5 minute power point presentation on the historical/social context of a work of art.

Portfolio-

4 complete projects documenting the entire process, including digital photos.
