Pottery: Handbuilding utilitarian pottery or a sculptural piece. Linoleum Block Design, Transfer, Cutting, and printing greeting cards and pictures.

Possibilities for Independent projects:

1.African Scene(finished with colored pencil or marker,

2.Needlecraft Creations with Plastic Canvas & Yarn,

3.Large Scratchboard Etching with Gold or Silver Background,

4.Portrait Drawing,

4.Watercolor Painting,

5.Still-Life Drawing.

6.Calligraphy.

(Independent projects with Teacher's approval.)


Skills


Linoleum Block Design: Design and Ebony transfer to 4 X 6 linoleum block.

Learn proper safety techniques for cutting with Speedball tools, and use of a bench hook,use of Brayer with acrylic paint and printing both greeting cards and pictures.

Animal drawing, including background scenery using proper perspective.


Assessment


Points earned by following criteria for projects.

Extra Credit Points earned for turning in Independent Projects.
