Essential Skills for Level 4
-identifying visual images, themes, and ideas for works of art
-selecting and using visual images, themes, ad ideas to communicate meaning
-comparing the use of visual images and ideas
-identifying colors, textures, forms, shapes and subjects in the enviroment
-create artworks, using a variety of colors, textures, forms and shapes
-increase manipulative skills, using a variety of materials to produce drawings, painings, prints and constructions.
-identify the use of art in everyday life.
-define reseans and prefrences in personal artwork.
-create compositons and artwork by using the principals and elements of art.
-using art as a form of communication on self, school, family, and community.
-design origianl artwork and learning how to step outside "the box".
-describe intent and form conclutions on personal artwork.
First Quarter:
Student will be able to:
